What to eat at PJ OldTown

Petaling Jaya Old Town has so much to offer when comes to foood…fast food, hawker food, dim sum..you name it.

Below are some of my top list and favourite places which I think you should give it a try!

1) Kie Kei Chicken Rice

I was told that this chicken rice stall has been here for more than 30 years!! And people from all over the town will flock to this place for a scrumptious yummy chicken rice.

Their honey-barbecue pork (char siew) and roast pork (siew yok) are also one of their famous serving!

Per serving of a chicken with BBQ pork is about RM6.50 and is so sinful to have it before a official meeting, it will doze you off..hahaha..

2) Red Bean Cendol and Ais Kacang

A few stalls next to Kie Kei Chicken Rice, there is this Red Bean Cendol that make the best combo with the chicken rice! With this two combinations, BAM!! your day would be so dreadful if you still need to work after that.

Look at the amount of Red Bean Cendols I have consumed..each picture represents per visit (look at the colors of the straws and you know I am telling you that I am crazy of cendols) ..I am so gonna get diabetes… hahaha..

3) Yee Por Lou Shu Fen

Another nice food to eat around this area would be Yee Por Lou Shu Fen, located at the corner of the street opposite Jin Xuan dim sum restaurant. This shop is a branch of the original shop in Seremban. Their are famous of their pork-based soup with rich fragrant of white pepper, and the lou shu fen (thick rice noodle).

They have also pork balls and pork-stomach soup, which I think you should really give it a try. Their hot & spicy white pepper soup taste so good on a rainy day.

Average per bowl of the noodle cost around RM6-8, and the pork ball is RM2.50 for two, very worthy and yummy. 🙂
