Jalan San Peng Chicken Hor Fun 鸡丝河粉

This post is a disgrace to me as an Ipoh guy where our town is well-known & famous of our Chicken Sliced Rice Noodle (Kai Si Hor Fun). We have the best, smooth texture noodles and rich flavor soup due to our mountains-surrounding valley with high-quality water.

But yet, I still post this one here because, it is very sad to say, the noodles here is AS GOOD AS the one in Ipoh or even better!! (How they do it???)

I have tasted carefully the texture of the noodles, the soup, the taugeh (beans sprouts) are as fat and crunchy as the ones in Ipoh??!! MINDBLOWN!!! Improssibruuuuu!!!!

First let us look at the crowd on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm, crowded !!

After we got a table, we ordered the following:

Soy braised Chicken feet (yum yum…)

Quarter Steam Chicken (yum yum yum..)

Rojak (this one is different stall)

And this Taugeh (fat and crunchy…just like the ones in IPOH!!!) I cannot accept this!!

And the ultimate main character – Hor Fun soup!!!

All that we ordered here cost less than RM40 and is totally worth it !! If you have never been to Ipoh for the infamous Lou Wong Hor Fun, On Kee Hor Fun or Buntong Hor Fun, why the hassle..hahhaa..(personal opinion) This is so much satisfying and delicious and yummy and take my breath & money away!!!
