It was a rainy day, well not very heavily, I was hungry after class and too lazy to cook. I remember I often run to this fish & chip shop near Jubilee Campus when I was studying in Nottingham. Not only it is a cheaper option, their aroma of vinegar and salt on a generously fried battered-fish with generous amount of fat french fries, aw so goood..my mouth is salivating as I am typing this..
Well, that was many years ago and there is none that I found a fish and chip as good and simple as the one I tasted in Nottingham. Not until I found Cor Blimey, the British Fish & Chips!! Although the taste is slightly different, but if we cant have the best, we take the second best lorr..haha..

Looking around the settings of the restaurant has brought so much (not real) feel about being in the UK. The Union Jack-designed table and chairs made me so proud of being an ex-student in the Queen’s land..wahaha..
We saw the menu and it looks more worthy to order the set for two which has all kinds of seafood with mashed-peas and cabbage salad sides with rice. And this is what it looks like…yummm yumm
There are two pieces of fish, calamari rings, mussels, prawns, crab cakes and wedges and is only about RM69++. Totally worth it, to bring back the feeling of being in the UK. haha..no lar..the meal is also superb. This place is definitely a must try if you have not feel how the England-ers had their fish & chips!
