Finally got the time to blog again!

It’s Christmas weekend and I am back in Ipoh for another food adventure! As I was driving around town after breakfast with family near Ipoh Parade shopping mall, this beautiful restaurant with Christmas decorations caught my eye.

So I thought it can never go wrong with Thai food, why not? Haha..

Lanna Thai Restaurant

The first thing I notice when I stepped foot into this restaurant was the Christmas decorations, super nice ambiance and insta worthy.. haha..makes me feels like I’m travelling somewhere outside Malaysia XD, the next thing I was expecting is their sour-yummy papaya salad.

As the menu came to us I thought the items are pretty standard for a Thai restaurant, shomtam (papaya salad), tomyam, pineapple fried rice, and etc, pretty much you can choose from. So, we ordered a clear soup seafood tomyam, kailan vege with salted fish, fried pandan chicken, pineapple fried rice, papaya salad, and salted egg squid.  For beverages, thai-ice-tea (for sure), thai-matcha-milk tea, and pandan water. The next thing to worry now is the FOOD TASTE..haha..

Here comes our drinks and fooooood!! yummsss…

Thai Ice Milk Tea & Match Milk Tea

Pandan leave Fried Chicken wrap

Papaya Salad (Som Tam)

Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken Floss

Clear Seafood Tom Yam Soup

Curry Squid

Garlic Sauteed Kai Lan

Turns out the food is so good, they all meet my expectations, some beyond expectations. Seafood and vege are fresh and crunchy, just amazing. I was surprise the amount of rice my dad was having..haha..he was so happy, I can tell. XD The thai-ice-tea is definitely a must try, so gooood.

Definitely gonna come back to this restaurant for Thai food. Awesome!
