Craving for an authentic Penang Curry Noodle? Look no further! Jia Li Mian (literally means Inside the House, also somewhat sound like Curry Noodles in Mandarin) can definitely satisfy your tummy with their yummy delicacies.
In their restaurant, you will see mouth-watering curry noodle and Penang laksa wallpapers, describing the origins and typical ingredients you can find in both the noodles.
Their menu is simple and the waitress is very kind enough to explain to us their bestseller. Well, we went quite early and they were not many occupied tables. Haha..
Satisfaction level :♦♦♦
I have ordered the curry noodle with all the ingredients except for the pork blood cubes. They have shrimps, cuttlefish, siham (clam), tofu pok, ginger flower, peppermint leaves, and sambal (chili paste – that’s on the spoon)
This one is with Pork blood cubes.
Aside from the curry noodle they also have Laksa, otak-otak (steam fish cake). And we ordered these beverages here, they called “Hou Gah Sei” (means very lavish/well to do, if I translated correctly) – basically it is coffee mixed with milo drink. I requested them to custom make mine to milk tea mixed with milo, since I’m not a coffee drinker. So goooood. 🙂
Definitely worth trying if you have not been here. Is the drink and the services here that will make me return for their Laksa I have yet to try. There are definitely better curry noodles out there.
